Stevenage Male Voice Choir is a very friendly society.  The members of the choir even like their conductor (most of the time) and they do also like each other's company (some of the time).  Social events are therefore a very important part of the choir's annual programme.  "A bit of Bonding never did any one any harm", as 007 used to say  ...

Recent social events:

   Thursday 4th December 2008  The choir members, partners and friends took a coach to see the stage presentation of CAROUSEL (Matinee). This social event was excellently organised by John Clark who also arranged for the coach driver to drive via the centre of London's West End so that the Christmas lights could be viewed. The show starred Lesley Garrett and received a FIVE star rating from The Daily Mail theatre critic, which was richly deserved. A superb day was enjoyed by all.

   Hardly an undiluted social event, but the choir's tour to France in May 2008 did include plenty of opportunity for socialising as well as two concert performances. Please see the 'Golden Anniversary Celebrations' page elsewhere on this web site for further details.
